Music video winners

We asked Ruban & Kody to pick the grand prize winner from a very tough top three - you guys didn't make it easy for them:

There were some amazing things submitted to both the video and the t-shirt competitions and we can't really express how much we appreciate the time, effort and resources everyone put into their entries except to say that we wish we could afford to have more winners. We knew the final three in both categories were going to be difficult so we followed closely and picked favourites early on so that it would make it a little bit easier.

Just want to say thanks so much again to everyone that entered. We totally understand what it's like to work on this kind of stuff and appreciate your time and effort a lot. We'll look forward to seeing a lot more of your work in the future. Cheers!

Video grand prize winner - Deb Po!

Congratulations to Deb Po - her impressive video. It will be airing on MTV as the official Bad Buzz music video!! And a huge thank you to everyone who entered and supported the Mint Chicks!

There are many reasons we chose the video we did, but mainly Deb Po's was chosen for its way of capturing something about the song that the other videos couldn't quite get. Of the final three, the winner we chose was up against some really good stuff. In a way the winning video was unable to compete with the quality of both of it's competitors in terms of cinematography, which made it even more difficult to call. However, in a way it seemed to reflect the meaning of the song in a very strange way and when I watched it for the first time last week I had a feeling it was going to be hard to beat it for that reason. - Ruban
