TFF - Fucksurf
This week's free track comes from Dunedin based Indie label Proxy Music and their band TFF, whose album "Irregardless" is the label's debut release. TFF write irresistable heavy noise rock with hooks, perfect for fans of No Age, early Mudhoney and those of a particularly grungy disposition.
We're Proxy Music, a new kid on the block label based in Dunedin and releasing local noise rock and such. Our first release is the debut album by TFF (you may have heard of them, they did a split release with god bows to math last year). TFF have been together for 5+ years and have always turned heads both ways. TFF has been playing gigs in the Dunedin noise rock scene for 4 years or so. They're gradually building their way up (hopefully). Influences include Arab on Radar, The Locust, Deerhoof, Sonic Youth, and so on.
TFF are laying a gig this Friday (June 25th) at Refuel in Dunedin with Cartoon and MC Stormtroopa, as well as the next day (June 26th) in Christchurch with the same acts.
