Selling ones soul to the devil is deceptively hard work with suprisingly little reward. god bows to math haven't sold their souls to the devil. god bows to math are debating about becoming a Christian music band instead.
They don't like the RockFM too much, or crack. god bows to math don't really like many things. They do like playing rad tunes and drinking lots of beer. They have toured the country several times and played countless shows at some of Auckland's most beloved venues (and some of Auckland's least beloved) and have played shows with some wicked bands like My Disco, Wilberforces, Sharpie Crows and Ouch My Face. They have a split EP out with a band called TFF who also like playing rad tunes. You should go out and buy it.
What sort of album influences god bows to math?
Shellac - 1000 Hurts
Basically this album blew our minds and showed us how it was possible to make loud heavy rock music without resorting to generic riffs and cliched lyrics. Everything about this album is perfect, it has the exactly the right mix of qualities. We stole a lot of ideas and inspiration from this album.

The NZ indie label MUZAI Records
MUZAI Records are based out of a bedroom in Auckland, where most home brew ideas take place. Formed by a part-time journalist and a full time band member, MUZAI was originally meant to be something akin to postal service punk labels in the 80's. But hey, we live in a world where Web 2.0 is a phrase that actually makes sense, and so intrepidly journeyed onto the world wide web. People say we're really cool - we don't believe that. We're just trying out best.
