Nightchoir
Nightchoir are Mike Hall, Matthias Jordan and Michael Franklin-Browne, who have played together for nearly a decade as the rhythm section for Pluto. Nightchoir’s sound differs in temperament and tone with their songs drawing on the gentler edge of musical genres, including alt-country, indie-pop, and folk.
Supermodel
Structured around comparable musical traditions to those existed within by the likes of Queen, Muse and The Strokes, Supermodel is a four-piece band made up of Mark Hanify on lead vocals/guitar, his sister Rose on keyboards, Michael White on bass and Tony Kemp on drums.
Scene
Scene are Dave Gale (Vox/gat), Tom Garcia (lead gat), Ash Aiyer (drums) and Alec Cumming (Bass). Hard rockin' sounds and high energy live shows from this 4 piece that are going somewhere big in the next two years.
Robo Distaste
Robo Distaste is a New Zealand based duo consisting of Shona May & Quint Baker. Together produce unique pleasant personal universe type songs most often lead by the shamefaced voice of Shona May. The songs are lyrically poetic and recorded in an ambient style.
BEAR CAT
Auckland, New Zealand. Boy meets girl while working together at a record store. Trained pianist and singer Josie Tuck encourages journalism student Dan Trevarthen to chase his dreams of singing in a band, Dan introduces Josie to a world of music outside the top 40.
