Scene
Scene are Dave Gale (Vox/gat), Tom Garcia (lead gat), Ash Aiyer (drums) and Alec Cumming (Bass). Hard rockin' sounds and high energy live shows from this 4 piece that are going somewhere big in the next two years.
Scene are more than a standard prog indie rock outfit. The other side to the band is demonstrated in the acoustic and strings numbers they occasionally throw at you to put you off guard. This is a band with heart, a band with soul and depth.
The band have been compared by the critics as a cross between Green Day and classic British Indie bands such as Stereophonics and Oasis. Put this with the new menacing single, Nature Child, backed with the haunting acoustic and strings of Coffee & Cigarettes - we have a winner.
Welcome To The Revolution, come along for the ride. You'll not regret it, although the ringing in your ears may stay with you for some time. Peace.
What sort of album influences Scene?
Oasis - Definitely Maybe
From the opening line of Rock 'n Roll Star - "i live my life in the city, there's no easy way out" - to the unmistakeable tribute to all things rock 'n roll in Cigarettes and Alcohol and the most amazing rock love song of the last 20 yrs in Slide away - Oasis just epitomised everything anybody under the age of 30 felt at a time, similar to now, when it seemed the system was out to FUCK you over !"
